Requirements
- Experience with search, embeddings or information retrieval in a production system.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with attention to data quality and document structure.
- Ability to design a baseline and explain improvements using measurable evidence.
Responsibilities
- Develop ingestion, indexing, retrieval and reranking pipelines for changing data.
- Design context selection and memory updates with access-control boundaries.
- Build evaluation sets for relevance, grounded answers and retrieval failure modes.
Useful evidence
- A search or retrieval system, evaluation report or relevant open-source contribution.
- Knowledge graphs, multilingual search and temporal data are useful experience.
